Suki would never forget that night. After leaving the club, Juan Carlos took her to his residence in Roppongi. His apartment was in a very luxurious apartment building. When they went up to his apartment on the １０th floor, they didn't talk much but just looked at each other. Their eyes were expressing the excitement between them.
  "Please, come in." Juan Carlos invited Suki. In his designer living room, he put on a CD of Johann Strauss.
  "This music is perfect for leaｒning how to waltz properly," he told her. "I can't believe you've never danced like this before."
  "Never, Mr. Ambassador," Suki replied.
  "Don't call me ‘Mr. Ambassador’. Please just call me Juan Carlos." He took Suki's right hand in his and laid the other gently on her waist. He took the lead, so all she had to do was follow his steps.
  "Oh, you are very good for a beginner,"  Juan Carlos told her.
  Suki had studied ballet as a child which had given her good posture and a sense of timing, yet what surprised her was that it was so easy to follow his lead.
  "I guess you've had a lot of experience dancing like this, haven't you?"
  "Yes, of course. As a diplomat it is very important to be able to waltz."
  "I didn't mean that exactly. You've probably had a lot of girlfriends is what I meant."
  "Do you think so?"  He laughed."  Well, a few I guess, but usually I'm too busy to have a girlfriend. That's why I am still single, I suppose," he continued.
  "I can't believe it. You are too handsome and skilled a dancer for that!"  She said truthfully.
